Neil tries out his recently acquired
Armi Jager Mod. A.P. 74 - Made in Italy - for the first time

I had to trade three of my long guns (2 Marlin 75s and an old H&R single shot 12ga. shotgun) and some hours of my professional time to acquire this weapon, but it appears to be a good shooter. During today's shooting I had some feed and extraction problems, but it looks like a good cleaning should take care of that. The weapon appears to be very accurate, and I tried a variety of .22LR rounds from various manufacturers, and it ate it all. Over 200 rounds downrange during today's shoot, and most of them went inside the 2" circle after I shot this target. I should have taken a picture of the other targets I was shooting at, before I dropped the backing with the stickon targets off with a friend, so he could bitch and moan that he wasn't out shooting with me. LOL. With more practice (thank God and the ammo manufacturers, that .22 ammo is so cheap), I should be able to replicate the results at 50 and 75 meters.
