Rules of Conduct


By establishing an account, Client agrees to abide by the following Rules of Conduct:

Client acknowledges and agrees that neither NEW Enterprises nor any of its Network Services Suppliers are responsible for the content of the transmissions by Client which may pass through the Network. Client agrees that it will take reasonable steps to ensure that it will not use the Network Services for illegal purposes, for transmission of threatening, obscene, or harassing materials, or unauthorized use of copyrighted trademarked, or other proprietary material. NEW Enterprises will cooperate fully with all law enforcement authorities in investigating suspected lawbreakers. The Client of record is responsible for the security of his or her password and all use of the account, with or without the consent or knowledge of the Client.

Client agrees that it will not interfere with or disrupt other NEW Enterprises Clients, services or equipment, or the Clients, services and equipment of other sites on the Internet. Disruptions include, but are not limited to, the following:

The Client agrees to refrain from mass posting of messages to inappropriate Usenet newsgroups. The Client agrees to post advertisements only where appropriate, and in venues that specifically encourage or allow advertising. The Client agrees to respect the conventions of the newsgroups, lists and networks to which the Client is posting, including rules more restrictive than, but not limited to, the above.

The Service cannot be used by any individual or group of persons for any activities of an illegal or fraudulent nature, include any activities prohibited under United States of America Laws, and/or any unauthorized use of copyright material.

Violation of the foregoing by Client may result in immediate termination of NEW Enterprises Services without notice to the offending party or parties. Determination of a violation will be made at the sole discretion of NEW Enterprises, and NEW Enterprises, in its sole discretion, will determine what action will be taken in response to a violation on a case-by-case basis. NEW Enterprises reserves the right to release the usernames of Clients involved in violations of the foregoing to system administrators at other providers, in order to assist them in resolving disruptions and security incidents, and to valid law enforcement authorities investigating illegal activities.
